About

Meet Hendrix

It started with dog walking.

My mum had a dog walking business, and every afternoon after school I'd tag along to help. At first I thought she just wanted to spend quality time with me.

Then I found out people were actually paying for this.

That changed everything.

I remember saying: "Wait… you walk dogs and get paid? You drag me out here every afternoon. What's in it for me?"

Fair question, honestly.

Eventually Mum handed the business over to me, and that's when things got serious. I got to know all the dogs, all the owners, and basically became the small unofficial mayor of the dog park.

Then I started selling dog treats.

Now dogs sprint at me like I owe them money. Some people know me as "The Treat Dealer For Dogs."

Honestly? Accurate.

What started as a small idea turned into a real business with customers all over Australia, dogs who stare at cupboards like tiny criminals, and owners constantly saying: "Do you have more of those treats? My dog is obsessed."

I've been featured on TV, in newspapers, on podcasts, on radio, won awards, and even published a book — which is pretty weird considering this all started because I didn't want to work for free after school.

The Treats

The whole brand is built around making treats that are fun, different, and exciting for dogs.

Not boring type stuff.

Just treats dogs go absolutely nuts for. Like, Literally.

Want to say hi, ask a question, or show me your dog trying to locate the treat cupboard at 2am?

Yep, I wrote a book. It's called Think Like a Six-Year-Old — about starting before you're ready, backing yourself, and why kids sometimes have better business instincts than adults.

And then there's Mum's book.

People sometimes ask how I got started, or where I got all these business ideas from.

Well... before I started Hendrix Pet Co, Mum had already started a few businesses of her own.

She's made some good decisions, some terrible ones, spent money she probably shouldn't have, started again, and learned a LOT along the way.

So she wrote a book about it.

It's not a "how to become a millionaire" book and she's definitely not pretending to have all the answers.

It's about the businesses she's started, what went wrong, what worked, the lessons she learned and the things she wishes she'd known before she began.

Basically, all the stuff she learned the hard way, so hopefully you don't have to.

If you've ever thought about starting a business, it's worth a read.

She given me a few to sell here, but it is sold on Amazon so head there if there are none here.
